Arthur C Clark Also wrote a story called "THE STAR"

"The Star" is a science fiction short story by Arthur C. Clarke that appeared in the science fiction magazine Infinity Science Fiction in 1955 and won the Hugo award in 1956. The story was also published as "Star of Bethlehem". It is collected in The Other Side of the Sky.

"The Star" is the story of a group of space explorers from Earth returning from an expedition to a remote star system, where they discovered the remnants of an advanced civilization destroyed when their sun went supernova. Their chief astrophysicist, a Jesuit priest, is suffering from a deep crisis of faith, triggered by some undisclosed event during the journey.

As the story unfolds, the reader learns that the destroyed planet's culture was very similar to Earth's. Recognizing several generations in advance that their sun would soon explode, and with no means of interstellar travel to save themselves, the doomed people spent their final years building a vault on the outermost planet in their solar system, whose Pluto-like orbit was distant enough to survive the supernova. In the vault, they placed a complete record of their history, culture, achievements, and philosophy, hoping that it would someday be found so that their existence would not have been in vain. The Earth explorers, particularly the astrophysicist-priest, were deeply moved by these artifacts, and they found themselves identifying closely with the dead race's peaceful, humanlike culture and the profound grace they exhibited in the face of their cruel fate.

The final paragraph of "The Star" reveals the source of the priest's pain. Determining the exact year of the long-ago supernova and the star system's distance from Earth, he calculated the date the emitted light from the explosion reached Earth, proving that the cataclysm that destroyed the peaceful planet was, in fact, the very star (or supernova), that compelled the wise men on Earth to travel to see the Child Jesus. The scientist's faith is shaken because of the apparent capriciousness of God:

[O]h God, there were so many stars you could have used. What was the need to give these people to the fire, that the symbol of their passing might shine above Bethlehem?"

The Star is Aquarius, the Star of Sirius, the Star of the Messiah, the Avatar

This is the Star Tarot Card for Aquarius, The Age we have entered according to most Astrologers. If the Age of Aries was Crowleys ISIS, Pisces Osiries, Aquarius would be Horus, the Child. So the Star IS also the Child.

 This Tarot card of Aquarius Symbolizes when a person who has Saught out their Place in the Universe, Coming back to Feed the Waters of Life, Pouring some in the water for others, Some in the Land to blossom into the Now, this card symbolizes Faith and Compassion, and Finding Ones place Amongst the Stars*. The Ruling Planets of the Aquarian were Paired up in 2009 on Election Day November 4th, much Aquarian Symbolism popped up around then as I explored in my Video "Lets do the Time Warp Dance",. The West Elected its First Black President after a long history of Slavery and Oppression, The Aquarian/Horus Age is the Golden Age where man evolves beyond ignorance and opposites, and the Universal water of life will be shared Equally, world Religions coming to understanding and peace, and knowing that all religions are one.

  This is also the Star of Sirius, and the Star of Bethelehem, Lady Nuit of the Stars and Milky Way is Flooding the NIle with the Rising of Sirius during the New Year and Dog Days. This is also the Star that marks the coming of the Avatar* The Child*, and also the star of the Last Judgement of revelations and the APOTHEOSIS of Christ. The Apotheosis is when Christ makes his Last Judgement on Earth, after Defeating the Anti Christ, Gods Followers at his Right hand will be lead into heaven, those at his left back into the Earth, the Dead will rise ( Souls and Bodys will be reunited), and Christ will return to heaven Set upon his Rainbow. Apotheosis means to be made Divine. Entheogen means to eat and commune and become the Divine.

  In Thelemic Author J. Daniel Gunthers "Initiation in the Aeon of the Child" it is also inferred that the New Testament "Wormwood Star" would mark the coming of Christ in the Last Judgement. Wikipedia notes

  "Although the word wormwood appears several times in the Old Testament, translated from the Hebrew term לענה (la'anah), e.g., Deuteronomy 29:18 and Jeremiah 9:15, its only clear reference as a named entity occurs in the New Testament book of Revelation: "And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter."   A Quick interesting node is that one could compare the Atomic Bomb to the Wormwood Star, the Atomic Bomb did definatly create a consciousness that could acknowledge the potential of the End Times or Last Judgement(bittering the waters, radiation, Wormwood is also a name for a very bitter plant). And even more interestingly is that the first Atomic Bomb to be Dropped in Japan, upon Hiroshima, was named "Little Boy". So the recreation of a Star exploding (the Abomb) is named "Little Boy" like a Child, like Christ the Avatar who is marked by "the Star". This gets more interesting when we note that the Atomic Bomb "Little Boy" was dropped on August 6th 1945. August 6th is the Feast of the Transfiguration of Christ(the Son or Child of God). The first Divine Transfiguration of Christ was upon Mount Tubor with Moses and Elijah, a Cloud Appeared and the Word of God Spoke through it saying "This is my beloved Son, Hear him!".

  Okay so there we have the First Transfiguration of Christ, the lesser Epiphany, when Jesus was made Divine before the Two Witnesses. On this days religious feast the Atomic Bomb Little boy was also dropped. Then there is the 2nd Transfiguration of Christ which appens during "the Last Judgement on Earth".

  Now ive gotta add another Arthur C Clark novel, if you havent given up or lost interest yet, I found the themes in "The Light of Other Days" that strongly reflect the Last Judgement and Humanities Apotheosis into a Hive Mind.

"The wormhole technology is first used to send pure information via gamma rays, then developed further to transmit light waves. The media corporation who develops this advance can spy on anyone anywhere it chooses. A logical development from the laws of space-time allows light waves to be detected from the past. This enhances the wormhole technology into a "time viewer" where anyone opening a wormhole can view people and events from any point throughout time and space.

 When the technology is released to the general public, it effectively destroys all secrecy and privacy. The novel examines the philosophical issues that arise from the world's population (increasingly suffering from ecological and political disturbances) being aware that they could be under constant observation by anyone, or that they could observe anyone without their knowledge. Anyone is able to observe the true past events of their families and their heroes. An underground forms which attempts to escape this observation; corruption and crime are drastically reduced; nations discover the true causes and outcomes of international conflicts; and religions worldwide are forced to reevaluate their divine histories. As the underground movement grows, it utilizes a direct neural interface coupled with the unlimited communication provided by the wormhole technology to develop a group mind.

 One of the central themes of the novel is that history is biased towards viewpoints of the person who wrote it. Hence many great "historical" events often did not occur as they now are collectively remembered. For example, during the book's progression; the time viewer technology shows that Jesus was the illegitimate son of a Roman centurion and that Moses was based on a collection of stories rather than the actions of a real person.

 In a climactic time-viewing experiment at the end of the novel, a time hole is opened to the beginning of life on Earth and it is discovered that all existing life is descended from a biological sample placed by intelligent beings (labeled Sisyphans) who inhabited the Earth over three billion years ago, trying to preserve genetic samples when geological and climatic changes and a large Bolide threatened an extinction level event."

Long read I know, but basically this mimics the The Last Judgement which would be humanities Apotheosis or integration into a hive mind which can view any point in space time(Judgment), this Hive mind is then able to reveal to humanity their true Extra Terrestrial Origins. Descended from beings named Sisyphans whose name reminds us of the myth of Sisyphus.
Sisyphean in the English Dictionary means "Endless Unavaling, as Labor or Task".

This will be the Day the Earth Stands Still, when the Avatar/Messiah will make his Last Judgement on Earth.
